McGrath NX6W Digital Smart Lock with Built-In Wi-Fi
The McGrath NX6W is a full-size, feature-rich 5-in-1 digital smart lock designed for standard stile timber and aluminium doors in residential, office, and commercial applications. Like the NX6, its larger lock body makes it particularly suitable for retrofit installations, where previous locks may have left additional holes in the door.
Access is managed through the McGrath Locks App, allowing control via PIN codes, RFID access cards or tags, fingerprint recognition, Bluetooth eKeys, and a mechanical key override. Unlike the standard NX6, the NX6W features built-in Wi-Fi connectivity, eliminating the need for a separate gateway for remote access and management.

The NX6 is also available in a version that uses a separate Wi-Fi gateway, or simply operate with Bluetooth only.

- Powered by 8 × AA alkaline batteries (not included).
- Typical battery life up to 18 months based on normal usage.
- Low-battery alerts provided in the app and audibly at the lock.
- USB-C emergency power port allows temporary operation using a power bank.
- Mechanical key override ensures access in all power conditions.
- Terry’s Locksmiths strongly recommends the use of Duracell batteries.
