McGrath ULTRA-SECUA Smart Lock – Screen Door
The McGrath ULTRA-SECUA Smart Lock is a purpose-designed digital security lock for hinged security screen doors. It provides keyless entry using PIN codes, RFID access cards or tags, and Bluetooth-enabled eKeys via the McGrath Locks App, with a mechanical key override for backup entry.
Supplied with a mortice lock and engineered for retrofit installation, the ULTRA-SECUA suits most hinged screen doors, including triple-locking designs. This standard (non-Dual Unlock) configuration is ideal for residential and light-commercial screen door applications where independent screen door control is preferred.

Access Features
Battery, Power & Backup Access
- Powered by 2 × 3V lithium batteries (included).
- Typical battery life of 3–4 years under normal residential use.
- Low-battery alerts provided in the app and audibly at the lock.
- Mechanical key override ensures access even if batteries are depleted.
- Terry’s Locksmiths strongly recommends the use of DURACELL batteries.
This smart lock does not include native Wi-Fi connectivity. Remote access and management features are available only when the lock is paired with a compatible McGrath Locks gateway. When a gateway is installed, users can remotely unlock the door, issue or revoke access credentials, and view access activity through the McGrath Locks App from anywhere with an internet connection. Installation & Compatibility
- Designed for hinged security screen doors.
- Compatible with most screen door mortice locks including Whitco, Austral, Doric, and Lockwood.
- Field-changeable handing.
- For sliding screen doors, consultation with a McGrath Preferred Retailer or Installer is recommended.
