Lockwood 5572DX Digital DX Mechanical Keypad Mortice Lock – 127mm Backset
The Lockwood 5572DX Digital DX Mortice Lock is a mechanical keypad access lock designed for commercial environments where secure keyless entry is required without electrical wiring or battery-powered electronics.
This lockset combines a Lockwood 3572 series cylinder mortice lock, Lockwood 1800 or 2800 series door furniture, and a mechanical Digital DX keypad access pad to create a durable access control solution suitable for high traffic doors.
The Digital DX mechanism operates entirely mechanically, meaning the lock functions independently of electrical power. This makes it ideal for applications where reliability and simplicity are important.
The keypad allows authorised users to unlock the door using a programmable code, while the inside lever or knob provides immediate exit at all times.

Fire Door Compliance
The Lockwood 5572DX is commonly used on fire door assemblies, but it should not be described as automatically fire compliant in every installation. Fire performance depends on the complete tested doorset, including the door, frame, lock, furniture, latch preparation and installer compliance.
Within the broader Lockwood Selector mortice lock platform, fire testing applies to the full door assembly rather than the lock in isolation. For Digital DX fire door applications, the rubber mounting pad must not be fitted where manufacturer instructions require its omission.
