Zanda 1153.SS - Mortice Lock to Suit Stealth 1326 (60mm Backset)

The Zanda 1153.SS is the replacement mortice lock body for the Zanda Stealth Longplate Smart Lock (1326, 60mm mortice). It is the lock case that sits inside the door leaf and drives the latch and bolt for the Stealth mortice longplate. With a 60mm backset it sets the handle position and clearance from the door edge, and its stainless steel construction gives strength and durability.

This is a spare or replacement body - the smart front and back panels are supplied with the 1326 longplate itself.

Available Finish Options

Supplied in a single stainless steel finish.

Key Features

  • Purpose-built mortice body for the Zanda Stealth 1326 (60mm mortice longplate)
  • 60mm backset for correct handle positioning and door-edge clearance
  • Durable stainless steel construction
  • Reliable mortice mechanism for smooth latch and bolt operation
  • Suitable for hinged internal or external doors

Compatibility

Fits the Zanda Stealth Longplate Smart Lock (1326, 60mm mortice). For the tubular-latch longplate (1327) use the latch body 1132.SS instead. Not for the 35mm mortice (1325). See how to measure backset.

Stealth Longplate Spare Bodies

The Zanda Stealth longplates use one of two lock bodies inside the door. Match the spare body to the longplate model: the mortice longplate (1326) takes the mortice body; the tubular-latch longplate (1327) takes the latch body.

Frequently Asked Questions

Which lock does this suit?
The Zanda Stealth 1326 - the 60mm mortice longplate. The 60mm tubular-latch longplate (1327) uses the 1132.SS latch body instead.
Is this a complete lock?
No. This is the mortice body only - the spare or replacement lock case. The smart keypad panels come with the 1326 longplate.
What is a 60mm backset?
It is the distance from the door edge to the centre of the spindle. See measuring your lock backset.

Additional Information

Installation:
Fit the mortice body into the prepared door edge, align the face and strike plates, and connect to the Stealth longplate spindle. Confirm the backset matches your door prep before fitting - Chapter 02 - Measuring Your Door.

How to Make a Claim

For full returns and warranty claim procedures, visit our Returns & Warranty page - this is kept up to date and is the authoritative reference for current claim steps.

Zanda's warranty process starts with the reseller you purchased from. As your place of purchase, we handle the claim for you:

  1. Contact Terry's Tradies Pty Ltd and its associated websites, trading names, and subsidiaries (the place of purchase) with your proof of purchase and the date the product was purchased.

  3. We complete the necessary claim forms and process the claim with Zanda Architectural on your behalf. You may be asked to return the product for assessment.

Important Notes

Residential use and parts-only cover
The products covered by this warranty are designed for residential use only - any other use (including commercial use) voids the warranty. This is a parts-only warranty: it does not cover labour costs for product removal and reinstallation.
Finish care and maintenance
Proper maintenance, care, cleaning and polishing in accordance with Zanda's instructions are essential to retain a product's finish - particularly soft finishes or finishes that naturally age, such as Brushed Nickel, Satin Chrome, Polished Brass, Graphite Nickel, Matt Chrome, Unlacquered Brass, Matt Brass, Rumbled Brass, Roman Brass, Natural Bronze, Oil Rubbed, Satin Brass, Brushed Bronze, Antique Bronze, Buffed Bronze, Matt Antique Bronze, Venetian Bronze and Powdercoat. These finishes are subject to deterioration, corrosion and oxidation from conditions such as salt deposits, scratches from sharp objects, paint thinners and caustic agents. For care of stainless steel products, see the ASSDA guidance on preventing coastal corrosion and tea staining.

Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.
