The Zanda Stealth Longplate Smart Lock (Product Code: 1327) is a Bluetooth-enabled digital lever handle set for residential timber and aluminium doors, installed on a 60mm tubular latch (what a latch is) - the tubular-latch member of the Zanda Stealth range. Unlike the mortice versions in the Stealth range (1325 / 1326), the 1327 fits a tubular latch rather than a mortice lock body, which can make it a more straightforward retrofit on doors already prepared for a latch (identify what is on your door). The 60mm tubular latch suits a standard timber door or aluminium stile with a 60mm backset; if you want a full mortice lock body behind the same plate, the 1326 is the 60mm mortice version and the 1325 the 35mm narrow-stile one - measure the stile width and backset before you choose. The lever operates the latch for day-to-day entry while the smart credentials control access, with an auto-lock option to re-secure the door. This 1327 carries a 60mm tubular latch, so it wants a standard stile; the 1325 is the 35mm mortice twin for narrow frames. Finish selection does not affect functionality, compliance, or performance. All four finishes are variants of this single listing. Brushed Nickel, Graphite Nickel and Satin Brass are soft finishes that Zanda expects you to maintain - unmaintained finishes and salty environments are excluded from the finish warranty (see Warranty and coastal environments). The same four finishes run across the 1325, 1326 and 1320, so a matching deadbolt or second door is easy.
Zanda Stealth Smart Range - Item Code Family
The Zanda Stealth range shares one app, credential set and optional Wi-Fi gateway, differing mechanically in body style, backset and installation method. This 1327 is the tubular-latch longplate; the 1326 is the 60mm mortice version, the 1325 is the 35mm narrow-stile mortice, and the 1320 is a bolt-only deadbolt. This product (bold row) is the 60mm tubular-latch longplate - the only Stealth lock that uses a latch rather than a mortice body or a deadbolt. Door thickness figures are from each model's Zanda data sheet - the 1320 deadbolt tops out at 55mm, the three longplates at 65mm. Accessories & Spares
The 60mm tubular latch (STK 1132.SS) is the only spare Zanda lists for this 1327. Zanda does not list a spare front (keypad) panel, back panel, replacement IC cards or key blanks for the Stealth Longplate. If you need a like-for-like part, ask us for a recommendation and we will check availability with Zanda before you commit. Battery, Power & Backup Access
- Powered by 4 x AA batteries - not included; install before commissioning (how smart locks are powered).
- Batteries sit in the internal (back panel) compartment; remove the back-panel cover to fit them, then refit the cover - the data sheet shows this as the last installation step.
- Low battery alerts are provided through the TTLock app and the lock indicators - battery management in TTLock and the low-battery diagnostic.
- Zanda notes that a relatively fast battery draw is normal for this lock, which has a short-circuit standby design - change the batteries when the app warns you rather than waiting for a failure (what really affects battery life, power and battery FAQs).

The Stealth longplate communicates via Bluetooth. Within range the TTLock app (iOS and Android)![]()
provides full management - adding the lock, issuing passcodes, sending e-keys, enrolling cards and fingerprints, and reading the unlock records. Remote access from outside Bluetooth range requires the compatible Zanda Stealth Electronic Lock Gateway / Wi-Fi Bridge (sold separately) on your home Wi-Fi - it is added in the app as a G2-type gateway (the G2 explained). Without a gateway the lock runs fully standalone using Bluetooth (in proximity), PIN, RFID card, fingerprint and mechanical key - and it keeps working when the internet is down (what still works offline). TTLock accounts are created with a phone number or email and can be used across many locks and countries - see the TTLock hardware ecosystem, TTLock vs Tuya and TTLock security.
The Zanda Stealth gateway is the only bridge Zanda names for this lock. Terry's also supplies the McGrath G3, G4 and G5 gateways for other TTLock-platform locks - whether a cross-brand TTLock gateway pairs with a Zanda lock is covered honestly in cross-brand gateways; we do not assert it here.
Zanda Stealth Longplate 1327 - Full Specifications
Dimensions
The external longplate is shared across the 1325, 1326 and 1327 - only what sits behind it changes: a mortice body on the 1325/1326, this 60mm tubular latch on the 1327. Confirm backset, door thickness and what is on the door now before ordering; the wrong backset is the most common reason a lever smart lock will not fit.
Installation and Handing
The lever on each panel is reversed the same way: loosen the inner hexagon screw of the handle anti-clockwise, remove the handle, turn it to suit the direction the door opens, seat it back into the handle hub and re-tighten the hexagon screw on the back of the handle. Do this on the front panel and the back panel before anything goes on the door. Work out your door handing first (the four combinations), and read Chapter 02 - handing.
- Fit the 60mm tubular latch into the door edge (a door already bored for a 60mm latch is the easy case) and fix the strike and strike box to the jamb - door prep and why misalignment is mistake number one.
- Fit the square shaft through the latch and the front panel, with its triangle mark turned toward the side the handle points; choose the 60mm or 80mm shaft to suit your door thickness. Then fit the sliding screw casing - the 1327 data sheet shows this as its own step between the shaft and the wiring - and feed the front-panel wire through its hole. The wrong shaft set-up is why an outside lever can feel dead (spindle mistakes).
- Drill the hole for the connecting wires 65-110mm from the centre of the spindle shaft; if the door already has a hole within that range, use it.
- Connect the front and back panel wires through the drilled hole, remove the cover on the back panel, and fix the back panel through its top and bottom fixing points using the screws for your door type - timber or aluminium.
- Insert the 4 x AA batteries and refit the battery panel, then test every credential with the door open before you close it. Do not close the door before the batteries are in.
- Set up the lock: open the front-panel cover plate, press and hold the reset button for three seconds, enter 000# and listen for two beeps. The TTLock default password on a new Stealth lock is 123456 - change it straight away (why an admin code matters).
Frequently Asked Questions
No. The Stealth Longplate is a complete lock set with lever handles on both the external and internal panels - no separate pull handle or passage set is required. See Chapter 01 - latches. If you would rather keep your existing handles and add a smart bolt above them, that is what the Stealth 1320 deadbolt is for.
The longplate, keypad, app and finishes are identical - what changes is behind the plate. This 1327 fits a 60mm tubular latch; the 1326 fits a 60mm mortice lock body and the 1325 a 35mm one for narrow stiles. A latch is a simpler mechanism and often an easier retrofit on a door already bored for one; a mortice body gives you a full lock case in the door edge (latch vs mortice in Chapter 01). No. It uses Bluetooth. Remote access needs the Zanda Stealth Wi-Fi gateway bridging the lock to the TTLock app over your 2.4GHz Wi-Fi. Chapter 08 explains what a gateway adds, and the Wi-Fi connectivity FAQs cover the common questions.
The lever direction on both panels is adjustable before installation - loosen the inner hex screw, remove and re-seat the handle, then re-tighten; the square shaft is set to suit door thickness and handing, with its triangle mark turned toward the side the handle points. Additional Information
The 1327 incorporates lever handles on both panels and operates the tubular latch directly, so it is the primary door hardware. A tubular latch is not a deadbolt - it holds the door closed and the lock controls who can retract it. Where a heavier security throw is wanted, a separate deadbolt can be specified alongside - see what a mortice lever lock is, secondary locks and the one-penetration principle and why a deadbolt is the usual second lock. The matching-finish option is the Stealth 1320 deadbolt.
Set the lever to match the door open direction during installation, and fit the correct square shaft (60mm or 80mm supplied) for the door thickness. Confirm the open direction before drilling - Chapter 02 - handing, and what goes wrong when handing is wrong. Reversible-lever products like this one are the easy case - which products need handing specified at order.
IP66 confirms the external (outside) module is dust-tight and resistant to powerful water jets from any direction, suiting external and weather-affected doors. It is not fully submersible - avoid direct immersion - and the internal panel, which houses the batteries and electronics, is for interior use only. Zanda's warranty also excludes extreme heat, weather and salty environments, so a covered entry is the ideal position on the coast. All new Zanda Stealth locks ship with a default TTLock password of 123456 - change it immediately after installation. The lock is added to the app via Bluetooth, which must be enabled during pairing; tap the keypad to wake it, choose Add Lock, and rename it. For reliable enrolment, ensure fingers are clean and dry. Each fingerprint can be given a start and end time for time-limited access. If the sensor is unresponsive it should still beep when pressed; if not, check the wire between the front and back panels. Everything below is here to help you buy, install, set up and live with the Zanda Stealth Longplate 60mm tubular-latch smart lock. Access and Credentials
Five kinds, all from the TTLock app: permanent codes, time-limited codes with a start and end, one-time codes, recurring (cyclic) codes for a cleaner or gardener, and custom codes you choose yourself. Codes can be shared by SMS or email. The lock stores up to 150 passwords. Read TTLock passcode types, the permanent-passcode rule, the activation window table (why a timed code can seem not to work yet) and a cyclic code worked example.
Touch the keypad to wake it, key in the code, then press the unlock key in the lower right corner of the keypad. Enter the wrong code five times running and the keypad locks itself for five minutes - use a card, fingerprint, the app or the key in the meantime. How PIN entry works in Chapter 03.
Up to 200 IC cards; three are in the box. Each card is enrolled in the app under IC Cards, Add Card, with its own name and an optional start and end time, and each can be removed individually if lost. Enrolment happens over Bluetooth at the lock. Extra cards need to be Zanda-compatible - we do not assume a card from another brand's RFID range will enrol, so ask first. Yes, fingerprint is included as standard. The lock holds up to 200 fingerprints, each enrolled in the TTLock app with an optional start and end time; name each print so it is easy to remove later. The cylinder sits on the external panel and two keys are supplied. Zanda does not list key blanks for the Stealth range, so keep one key somewhere safe from day one - where to store a smart lock key, key hiders, and our key safe range. What key override is and key override FAQs.
No. The Stealth range is PIN, card, fingerprint, app and key. If you want face recognition, see Chapter 06 - facial recognition and the face and palm recognition category - the slimline Vault Alpha is the narrow-frame option with 3D face recognition.
Locking, Auto-Lock and Passage Mode
Auto-lock sets the time between the lock being unlocked and it automatically locking again, so a door that is opened with a code re-secures itself without anyone touching the lever. The delay is set in the TTLock app. Zanda does not quote a default figure, so check the setting during commissioning. It is one of the standard TTLock lock settings.
Passage mode leaves the lock unlocked so the lever opens the door freely from outside without a credential - handy while you are moving in, hosting, or carrying shopping. Switch it off again in the app and the lock returns to normal auto-locking. Zanda offers auto-lock or passage mode as the two operating states. For the general concept see practical-use FAQs.
Yes - the internal lever retracts the tubular latch from inside regardless of the lock state, so egress does not depend on batteries or the app. This is a latch-type lock rather than a deadbolt: mortice latch versus mortice deadbolt in Chapter 01. If you want a bolt as well, pair it with the Stealth 1320 deadbolt and read the one-penetration principle if you are in an apartment.
Remote Access, Gateway and Wi-Fi
Only if you want to operate or manage the lock from outside Bluetooth range. Within range the app does everything - codes, cards, e-keys, records. Add the Zanda Stealth Gateway / Wi-Fi Bridge (STK 1330.-) to unlock remotely, issue a code to a tradie from work, or read the entry history while you are away. Plug the gateway in; alternating red and blue means it is in standby and ready to pair, solid blue is working, solid red is a network failure. In the TTLock app open the menu, choose Gateway, select the G2 type, press +, give it a name, choose your 2.4GHz Wi-Fi network and enter the password. Almost always band steering - a router that merges 2.4GHz and 5GHz under one name - or distance and brick between the gateway and the lock. Fixes are in band steering, improving stability, power cycling and TTLock band-steering fixes; the lock itself keeps working over Bluetooth, PIN, card and key throughout (Wi-Fi dropout FAQ).
The Zanda Stealth gateway is the only bridge Zanda names for its locks, and it is the one we recommend. The question of mixing TTLock-platform gateways across brands is answered honestly in cross-brand gateways - we do not promise it on this page.
Power and Batteries
Four AA batteries, not included - buy quality alkaline cells and avoid rechargeables, which drop voltage early (choosing batteries). They sit behind the back-panel cover on the inside of the door. Zanda does not publish a battery-life figure for this model and notes that a fairly quick draw is normal for its standby design, so plan on the app's low-battery warnings rather than a calendar - battery management, what affects battery life.
Use the mechanical key on the external panel, then replace the batteries from inside. The app warns you well before that point; if it does not, run the low-battery diagnostic. When the battery dies covers the sequence, and Chapter 13 - power and battery the general questions. A power outage changes nothing - the lock is battery powered (power outages).
Fit, Backset and Door Compatibility
Yes - timber and aluminium. The kit includes separate screws for each door type (M4x20mm for timber, M5x10mm for aluminium) and waterproof rubber plates on both faces. The 60mm latch backset suits a standard aluminium stile; for a narrow stile choose the 35mm mortice 1325. See Chapter 04 - Door Type Compatibility, stile width and what counts as a narrow stile.
Look at what is in the door now. If it has a tubular latch bored through the edge at 60mm, this 1327 drops in. If it has a mortice lock case in the edge, or you want one, the 1326 (60mm) or 1325 (35mm, narrow stile) is the right pick. The two share the same longplate, keypad, app and finishes. 35-65mm. Two square shafts are supplied, 60mm and 80mm - use the shorter one on thinner doors and the longer one toward the 65mm end, and set the sliding screw casing to suit. Measuring door thickness in Chapter 02.
Yes. The lever on both the front and back panels is reversed before installation to suit the direction the door opens, and the tubular latch itself is not handed, so one 1327 covers left- and right-hand doors. Set the handles first - determine your handing, then follow the Installation and Handing section above.
No. The Stealth longplate is designed around its own supplied 60mm tubular latch and the square shaft passes through it. Remove the existing latch and fit the supplied one - identify what is on the door now. If the door has a wire hole already within 65-110mm of the spindle, you can reuse it.
Zanda publishes no fire rating for the Stealth range, so do not fit it to a tagged fire door. For apartment entry doors read where fire-rated locks are required, strata checks and the fire door smart lock category.
No - it is a lever latch lock for hinged timber and aluminium doors. For sliders see the sliding door category (the Vault Eclipse and McGrath A231 families cover both), for screens the security screen category, and for gates the external gate category or a battery-free mechanical digital lock.
Installation, Setup and Troubleshooting
Open the cover plate on the front panel, press and hold the reset button for three seconds, key in 000#, and wait for two beeps. Then, with Bluetooth on, open TTLock, tap the keypad to wake the lock, choose Add Lock (or the + button under All Locks), select the lock when it appears and rename it. First check the batteries are installed the right way round. Then remove the back panel and check the cable between the front and back panels is properly connected at both ends - it is the most common cause. Chapter 12 troubleshooting and still stuck?
Usually the square shaft is in the panel the wrong way - check the triangle mark on the shaft points the same way as the handle. Zanda lists this as the first thing to check. Spindle mistakes and DIY mistake two.
Clean, dry fingers and a clean sensor first - oil and dirt stop the sensor reading. Press the sensor: even an unrecognised print should get a beep, which proves the sensor is live; no beep points to the panel cable. Then use the three-angle technique.
A confident DIYer with a 60mm latch bore already in the door can follow the data sheet; boring a new latch in an aluminium door is a job for a locksmith. App, Sharing, Records and Account
An e-key is app access sent to another TTLock user. From the lock screen tap Send eKey, choose permanent, timed, one-time or recurring, enter the recipient's TTLock account, name it and set the validity period; you can also let them unlock remotely (with a gateway) or make them an authorised admin. Recipients need their own TTLock account. The admin can later delete, reset or adjust e-keys and see each e-key's usage. e-keys in Chapter 14; for guests who will not install an app, send a timed PIN instead.
Yes - tap Records in the app for the full entry and exit history, showing the credential used and the time. Records sync when your phone is within Bluetooth range, or continuously with the gateway. Why audit trails matter for rentals and small businesses.
Yes, with the gateway. Timed and one-time codes handle check-in and check-out, the records tell you who arrived when, and a PMS platform can issue codes automatically. TTLock is a global cloud platform used by many lock brands, including Zanda's Stealth range. What it stores, how it is secured and where it is hosted are covered plainly in TTLock security, TTLock vs Tuya - security, data sovereignty, the hosting table and security and sovereignty in Chapter 15. Zanda has not issued an Australian Cyber Security declaration for this lock (what that law requires); the platform's own honest gaps are worth reading too.
Transfer the lock to the new owner's TTLock account rather than sharing your login, and clear every code, card and e-key you issued. Lock transfer, before handover and the erase code at handover. Timed codes that seem to expire early are usually a clock issue - clock calibration.
Weather, Durability and Care
The external module is IP66 - dust-tight and resistant to strong water jets - so rain on a front door is fine. Zanda's warranty excludes extreme heat, weather and salty environments, and the three soft finishes need regular care, so on the Gold Coast a covered entry is the right position and a wipe-down routine is worth adopting. IP ratings, coastal environments, coastal lifespan and Queensland considerations.
That depends more on installation quality and environment than on the electronics - realistic expectations, installation quality, what actually fails and why it is not set and forget. Zanda backs the mechanism for 5 years.
Warranty and Spare Parts
Zanda's Electronic Locks warranty - 5 years mechanical, 2 years finish - parts only, residential use, with the exclusions listed in the Warranty section. Claims go through the reseller with proof of purchase, so contact Terry's first and we handle it with Zanda. Zanda Warranty (PDF) and Returns & Warranty.
Zanda lists only two spare bodies for the Stealth longplates, both 60mm: the 1153.SS mortice body for the 1326 and the 1132.SS tubular latch for this 1327. The 1132.SS latch is the only spare for this 1327; there is no spare keypad, back panel, card or key blank in the catalogue. If a part fails inside the warranty period, that is a warranty claim; outside it, ask us for a recommendation and we will check with Zanda. General smart lock accessories.

Zanda Warranty
Zanda Architectural products carry a limited warranty against defects in material or workmanship under normal use during the warranty period. During the warranty period, Zanda Architectural will repair or replace the product (or the defective parts) at no charge, using new or refurbished replacement parts. Warranty periods vary by product range and by component (mechanical and finish), so please check the row that matches your product below.

How to Make a Claim
Zanda's warranty process starts with the reseller you purchased from. As your place of purchase, we handle the claim for you:
- Contact Terry's Tradies Pty Ltd and its associated websites, trading names, and subsidiaries (the place of purchase) with your proof of purchase and the date the product was purchased.
- Provide a clear description of the fault, along with the product range and model.
- We complete the necessary claim forms and process the claim with Zanda Architectural on your behalf. You may be asked to return the product for assessment.
- If the product is found to be defective under the warranty terms, Zanda will repair or replace it at no charge, using new or refurbished parts.
Exclusions
A warranty claim cannot be accepted for damage unless it resulted from a defect in Zanda's materials and workmanship. The following are expressly excluded:
- Surface damage occurring after purchase and not caused by defects in materials and workmanship.
- Misuse, neglect or accidental damage.
- Failure to maintain and care for the product.
- Defects or damage caused by using the product for a purpose other than that for which it was designed, such as commercial use.
- Defects or damage caused by improper installation.
- Damage caused by batteries.
- Modification and/or alteration to the product.
- Discolouration and scratches to finishes through normal use and ageing.
- Replacement of batteries.
- Normal wear and tear.
This guarantee does not extend to labour costs, freight, personal loss, death or injury, or economic, consequential or property damage of any kind. The warranty also excludes extreme environments where heat, weather and salty conditions are prevalent, and does not cover products that have not been properly maintained.
Important Notes
The products covered by this warranty are designed for residential use only - any other use (including commercial use) voids the warranty. This is a parts-only warranty: it does not cover labour costs for product removal and reinstallation.
Proper maintenance, care, cleaning and polishing in accordance with Zanda's instructions are essential to retain a product's finish - particularly soft finishes or finishes that naturally age, such as Brushed Nickel, Satin Chrome, Polished Brass, Graphite Nickel, Matt Chrome, Unlacquered Brass, Matt Brass, Rumbled Brass, Roman Brass, Natural Bronze, Oil Rubbed, Satin Brass, Brushed Bronze, Antique Bronze, Buffed Bronze, Matt Antique Bronze, Venetian Bronze and Powdercoat. These finishes are subject to deterioration, corrosion and oxidation from conditions such as salt deposits, scratches from sharp objects, paint thinners and caustic agents. This is a limited, express warranty and is provided in addition to your rights under the Australian Consumer Law. Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure. Nothing in this express warranty limits or restricts any other statutory right or remedy available to you.
