Auslock Space Alloy A519 — Fully Automatic Push/Pull Smart Lock

The Auslock Space Alloy A519 is the flagship of the Auslock range — the only model with 3D face recognition, palm vein identification, built-in video intercom, and a fully automatic push/pull mechanism that opens the door without any handle operation after authentication. It uses the Usmart Go app rather than the Auslock App used by all other models in the range, and it connects directly to your home Wi-Fi without a separate gateway.

Mounted on a high-security 6068-grade mortice body, the A519 combines eight distinct access methods in a 79.6 mm × 424.6 mm aluminium alloy panel. The built-in camera enables visitor-triggered remote unlock, real-time live view, and a wandering alarm with photo capture. Available in Black, White, Gold, and Silver. Rechargeable 6,000 mAh lithium-ion battery included — no disposable batteries required.

Save on Door Hardware

The Space Alloy A519 integrates the smart lock and a full-height entrance pull handle into one unit — an ideal solution for a fresh-fit on a new door or major renovation.

Traditional smart lock installations on push/pull doors often require a separate architectural pull handle or push/pull furniture, which can add several hundred dollars to the hardware cost.

By combining lock and handle in one unit, the A519 can significantly reduce door hardware costs. Pairing it with a roller bolt or roller catch keeps the door closed when unlocked, while the motorised deadbolt controls security.

3D Facial Recognition Access

The A519 uses binocular 3D face scanning — dual cameras map the depth and geometry of your face rather than simply photographing it. This is the same category of technology used in high-security commercial access control and is significantly more resistant to spoofing than flat 2D face recognition. See the difference between 2D and 3D face recognition.

Face recognition works alongside fingerprint, PIN, RFID card, Bluetooth app, and mechanical key access — choose the method that suits the moment. Register multiple faces at different angles for best recognition reliability.

Usmart Go app icon App Platform: Usmart Go

Important: The A519 uses the Usmart Go app — not the Auslock App used by all other Auslock models. If you own other Auslock products, the A519 is managed in a separate app. Both apps are free and available on iOS and Android, but they do not share a login or device list.

Usmart Go is a dedicated smart home platform that manages the A519's remote access, activity logs, member sharing, and doorbell/camera functions. It is available on the Apple App Store and Google Play at no cost.

What Usmart Go does well:

  • Remote unlock: When a visitor presses the doorbell on the lock, a notification is sent to your phone. You open the app, view the live camera feed, and enter your security password to remotely unlock. This is doorbell-triggered — the owner can also activate live view manually via Settings > Video Settings.
  • Activity log: Full timestamped record of every access event — who entered, by which method, and when.
  • Temporary passcodes: Issue time-limited, one-time, or permanent codes for guests and contractors without them needing the app.
  • Member management: Share lock access with other Usmart Go account holders. Assign Manager role (can manage devices and users) or User role (access only). Members operate the lock independently.
  • Wandering alarm: If the body sensor detects three unrecognised approaches within a short period, the app sends a photo-capture alarm notification to your phone.
  • Push notifications: Lock/unlock events, battery alerts, and doorbell presses sent to phone in real time.
  • Broad device support: The Usmart Go platform also supports smart lights, curtains, cameras, and infrared-controlled appliances — useful if you're building a wider smart home setup.

What Usmart Go does not do:

  • No Google Home or Amazon Alexa integration. The Usmart Go platform does not connect to Google Home, Amazon Alexa, Apple HomeKit, Samsung SmartThings, or any Western smart home ecosystem. Voice assistant control is not available on this model.
  • No continuous live monitoring. The camera live view must be manually activated in app settings. Without a memory card (not included), live view works but footage is not saved.
  • Remote unlock is doorbell-triggered. The owner cannot proactively push a remote unlock without a visitor first pressing the doorbell, unless active view is manually enabled in Settings.
App platform note — please read before purchasing: The Usmart Go app has a lower app store rating than most smart lock apps (approximately 2.4/5 on Google Play across 456 reviews). Common user feedback includes complexity of initial setup, slow doorbell notification speed on some devices, and limited integration with other smart home systems. The lock hardware itself is well-reviewed; the limitations are specific to the app experience. If seamless integration with Google Home, Alexa, or a broader smart home ecosystem is important to your purchase decision, a different Auslock model or platform may be more suitable. Contact us before purchasing if you have specific app or integration requirements.

Frequently Asked Questions

Does the A519 work with Google Home or Amazon Alexa?
No. The A519 uses the Usmart Go app platform, which does not integrate with Google Home, Amazon Alexa, Apple HomeKit, or Samsung SmartThings. Unlike all other Auslock models, the A519 has no voice assistant compatibility. If voice control is a requirement, please contact us before purchasing — a different model in the Auslock range or another brand may be more suitable. See Chapter 15 — Choosing the right smart lock platform for a full comparison.

How does remote unlock work on the A519?
The A519 uses visitor-triggered remote unlock. When a visitor presses the doorbell on the lock, the Usmart Go app sends a push notification to your phone. You open the app, view the live camera feed, and enter your security password to remotely unlock the door. You can also enable active view manually in the app (Settings > Video Settings) to monitor the door without waiting for a doorbell press. This is different from the always-available remote control offered by Auslock App models with a gateway.

Do I need a gateway for remote access?
No — the A519 has built-in 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi and connects directly to your home network. Unlike all other Auslock models, no separate gateway is required for remote access or notifications. This is one of the key advantages of the A519 over the rest of the Auslock range.

How do I configure the door motor direction (push vs pull)?
The motor direction is configured during initial setup by entering the function menu on the keypad: `*+#+Admin code#+3.Install+1.Motor+1.Left / 2.Right`. Set this before completing installation. Getting the door swing direction correct at this step is critical — the motor will retract in the wrong direction if misconfigured.

The lock motor operates but the door does not open — what do I check?
First confirm the motor direction setting is correct for your door (push vs pull, left vs right). Then check that the cylinder extends 18–20 mm beyond the door surface as specified. If both are correct, the likely cause is strike plate alignment — even small door sag can prevent the bolt from retracting cleanly. Test with the door open to isolate motor vs alignment issues.

Can I use the A519 with other Auslock locks in one app?
No. The A519 uses the Usmart Go app; all other Auslock models use the Auslock App. These are separate platforms with separate logins and separate device lists. You cannot manage an A519 and an H13 in the same app. If you are installing multiple Auslock locks and want to manage them all from a single app, the A519 will be the odd one out.

Additional Information

Installation complexity — professional fitting recommended: The A519 requires full mortice body installation into the door edge, motor direction configuration via keypad menu, cylinder fitment with a precise 18–20 mm extension, and app pairing via QR code scan. This is a multi-step installation that goes beyond a standard lever set swap. Common install mistakes include incorrect motor direction, cylinder extension error, and misaligned strike plate. Professional locksmith installation is strongly recommended for the A519.
Push/pull door format — confirm your door before ordering: The A519 is purpose-built for vertical bar push/pull handle door configurations. Four motor configurations are supported: left push, right push, left pull, right pull. The motor direction must be set correctly at installation — an incorrectly configured motor will attempt to retract the bolt in the wrong direction. Read the installation manual carefully or engage a locksmith to confirm door prep and motor setup before purchasing.
Face recognition registration tips: Register each face at multiple angles as prompted by the voice guide — the system gives audio instructions during enrolment. Face recognition works best in stable lighting; strong backlighting or direct sunlight can affect performance. Register at the actual standing distance you will use (40–100 cm from the lock). For households with multiple users, register each person individually rather than sharing a face profile. For a detailed explanation of how 3D face recognition differs from 2D, see Chapter 06 — 2D vs 3D face recognition.
App platform and ecosystem: The Usmart Go platform sits outside the major smart home ecosystems (Google Home, Alexa, HomeKit, SmartThings). If you are building a smart home system around one of these platforms, the A519 will not integrate with it. The lock hardware and access control features are strong; the platform limitations are specific to smart home hub integration and voice control. See Chapter 15 — Choosing the right smart lock platform for a plain-language comparison of available platforms.
Lifespan and alignment: Installation quality has the greatest impact on smart lock longevity. A motorised push/pull lock that must force against a misaligned door will wear faster and drain the battery sooner. Check door and strike alignment at installation. Given the rechargeable battery system, also monitor charging frequency as an early indicator of motor strain.
