The Borg BLGATELATCHSTD is the factory-standard gate latch for the Borg 3000 Series mechanical digital gate locks - the latch the lock ships with, sold on its own for a like-for-like replacement when the original has worn.
It suits typical gate-to-post gaps, is made in weather-resistant stainless steel for external use, and comes with fixing screws. Where the gap is wider than standard, the 3000 Series On The Bench locks take the 50mm extension BLGATELATCH and the Easicode Pro locks take the XL latchbolt BLGATELATCHNEW.

Gate Lock Latch Item Code Family
Borg makes three latches for the 3000 Series gate locks. The standard latch comes with the lock; the two longer ones give the same 50mm of extra reach but fit different lock generations, so pick by the code-change type of your lock.
Compatible Locks
This is the standard latch for the Borg 3000 Series gate locks below - each row opens the lock page section that lists it. The two BL4400 lever gate locks list it as well; they are tubular-latch locks, so confirm fit with us before ordering it for one of those.

Yes. It is weather resistant and intended for external gate use when fitted to compatible Borg gate locks.
It is the standard latch for the Borg 3000 Series gate locks - the BL3100, BL3150, BL3175, BL3400 and BL3430 models, On The Bench and Easicode Pro alike. The BL4401 MG Pro and BL4441 MG Pro ECP lever gate locks list it too, but they use a tubular latch, so confirm fit with us before ordering it for one of those.
Use the 50mm extension BLGATELATCH on the On The Bench 3000 Series locks, or the XL latchbolt BLGATELATCHNEW on the Easicode Pro locks, when the gate gap is larger than standard or the gate frame is wider - see gate post sizing.

Warranty
All Borg locks are warranted against mechanical defects in materials and workmanship under normal use and service for a minimum of 12 months from date of sale. The warranty does not cover damage arising from misuse, vandalism, or improper installation. The lock must not be dismantled - doing so will invalidate the warranty. Proof of purchase required for all claims.

How to Make a Claim
- Contact Terry's Tradies Pty Ltd first if you purchased through us or one of its associated trading names - we will assess the issue and manage the warranty process with LSC on your behalf. You do not need to contact LSC or Borg Locks UK directly.
- Have your proof of purchase ready (receipt or order confirmation).
- Warranty claims for Borg products in Australia are processed through LSC, the authorised Australian importer and distributor. Where an item is returned to LSC, freight charges must be prepaid and the item returned within the warranty period.
- If LSC finds the returned item to be defective, it will be repaired or replaced, and a detailed assessment report is provided to the customer after examination.
Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure. The Borg manufacturer warranty above operates alongside - and does not limit - these statutory rights.
