The Lockwood ASSA ABLOY Integral Escutcheon with Key Override and 3772 Mortice Lock (ITGL-AUT1I1KOSS-B) is a complete wireless RFID access control lockset for commercial and accommodation buildings that need secure, credential-based entry without running cabling through the door.
Integral is an offline data-on-card access control system. Access rights are written to RFID cards or fobs and read directly at the lock, so a site can scale across many doors without networking each opening. Every entry is logged, giving building managers an audit trail of who used which door and when.
This item code is supplied as a complete door lock kit: the Integral escutcheon assembly together with the compatible Lockwood 3772NOHDSS mortice lock. It supports RFID credential entry, mechanical key override and panic egress, so managed buildings get controlled access and code-compliant emergency exit in a single unit.

Access Methods

How the Integral System Works
Integral keeps the access rights on the card rather than on a network. You issue and cancel credentials at a PC running the Integral management software with a plug-in USB card encoder, and the lock reads what the card carries. Nothing is wired to the door and there is no app, gateway or internet connection in the path.
- Issuing credentials. The Integral USB card encoder writes, changes and cancels every card type except the system activation card. It is Windows based and plugs straight into the PC.
- Starting the system. The Integral software activation card (ITGL910-SWA) is what switches the card-issuing system on. It is ordered separately and is also what a function test needs.
- Reading the audit trail. Entry records come off the lock either by presenting a card at the door or with the handheld NFC programmer, which also sets the lock clock and checks its configuration. The handheld holds 2000 events in memory so several locks can be collected in one walk-around.
- Reporting. The management software reports by door, by user and by floor, zone or building, and records every opening, closing and reader event. It comes in commercial and accommodation versions.
- Doors without an escutcheon. Openings on electric strikes, drop bolts, magnets or motorised locks are brought onto the same card system with the Integral wall-mounted RFID door access controller, which reads the same Integral cards and keeps its own 2000-event trail.
- System limits. One Integral server, up to 15 client PCs (each needs its own encoder), up to 9999 door locks and readers, up to 27 lift floors, and unlimited users and cards.

Proof of purchase required for all claims.

Integral Escutcheon with Key Override & 3772 Mortice Lock - FAQ, Setup and Owner's Guide

What You Are Buying
Yes. The -B suffix is the whole point of this item code: the kit ships with the Lockwood 3772NOHDSS mortice lock body as well as the escutcheon. If the door already has a 3772 fitted, the escutcheon on its own is ITGL-AUT1I1KOSS and costs less. The ordering table on page 10 of the Integral catalogue sets out every code in the range.
Key Override. The KOSS variants carry a mechanical cylinder so an authorised key opens the door regardless of the electronics. The plain ITGL-AUT1I1SS codes are the same escutcheon without it. On a commercial site the override is usually not optional - it is how a manager gets into a room when a card fails or a battery dies. Cards, fobs and wristbands, the USB card encoder, the software activation card and the management software are all ordered separately. The activation card is the one people miss - without it the card-issuing system will not start, so a first-time Integral site needs it before any credential can be written.
Access & Credentials
On an online system the lock asks a server whether a credential is valid. On a data-on-card system the answer is already written on the card, and the lock simply reads it. Nothing is wired to the door, there is no gateway and no internet connection. The trade-off is that a change of rights reaches a user when their card is next re-written at the encoder, not instantly over the air. Chapter 01 sets out the smart versus connected distinction in plain language.
ISO14443A MIFARE credentials at 13.56MHz, written by the Integral encoder. The stocked options are user cards in boxes of 20, fobs in boxes of 20 and 30-75mm wristbands in boxes of 20, which suit pools, gyms and aquatic centres where a card in a pocket is not practical. Cards are supplied plain white and can be custom printed. The read distance is about 30mm, so it is a present-and-hold action rather than a wave from a distance. Yes. Integral has five card types. A User Card opens the doors and time periods granted to that person; a Floor Card opens every room on a floor; a Zone Card opens every room in a nominated zone or building; and Global Access and Security Cards open every door on the system. The one thing none of them overrides is a room with electronic privacy set from the inside. The card types are described on page 5 of the Integral catalogue and summarised in How the Integral System Works.
No. Integral is a card-and-fob platform with a mechanical key override, and there is no keypad, biometric reader, Bluetooth or app pathway on this escutcheon. If the site wants PIN or card on the same 3772 mortice footprint, the Lockwood Cortex CTX3772 is the standalone digital equivalent. If the site wants app-managed access, that is a different platform entirely - Chapter 15 compares the app ecosystems.
By turning the inside lever. The latch retracts mechanically, so egress does not depend on a credential, a battery or a card. That single-action exit is what makes the platform usable on managed accommodation and commercial openings where an emergency exit path has to work whatever else has failed.
Setting the System Up
A PC running the Integral management software, one USB card encoder per card-issuing PC, the software activation card to switch the card-issuing system on, and a stock of blank credentials. The software comes in commercial and accommodation versions. The programming-by-card procedure is the document to hand the person doing the commissioning.
Up to 9999 door locks and readers, up to 27 lift floors, and unlimited users and cards, on one Integral server with up to 15 client PCs. Each client that issues cards needs its own encoder. Those are the published system limits, not a practical recommendation - a 9999-door site is a campus, not a building.
Two ways. Presenting a card at the door pulls records back onto the card, which the encoder then reads when the card returns to the office. Or walk the site with the handheld NFC programmer, which holds 2000 events in memory and collects from several locks in one pass, then syncs to the PC by USB. The lock itself retains 992 events. Lift lobbies, roller doors, car park gates and anything on an electric strike, drop bolt, magnet or motorised lock go on the Integral wall-mounted RFID door access controller. It reads the same Integral cards, runs on 12V DC, keeps its own 2000-event trail and takes a request-to-exit button input, so those openings stay on one credential system rather than becoming a second set of keys.
Door Fit & Installation
The escutcheon suits doors 35mm to 55mm thick and the included 3772NOHDSS is a 60mm backset lock body. Measure the leaf thickness and the backset before ordering - Chapter 02 shows how to take both measurements, and the mortice lever and escutcheon section covers what to check when you are replacing existing hardware. If the door is thicker than 55mm, the Integral range has a cylinder extension kit for the key-override variant - ask us before ordering.
That is exactly what the platform is designed for. Integral uses the standard Australian 3772NOHDSS mortice footprint, so a door already prepared for a Selector 3772 takes the escutcheon without new mortice work. Fitting one escutcheon to a prepared door is straightforward for a tradesperson. Commissioning a site is not a DIY job - it is a mortice prep, a strike alignment and a software build, and getting the strike gap wrong is the most common reason a lock does not latch cleanly. Chapter 12 covers the three mistakes that account for most callbacks, and the 3700 Series service manual carries the mounting instructions and drilling dimensions. The lever is certified in accordance with AS1428.1-2009. Power, Service & Lifespan
Four AA alkalines give up to 60,000 operations. The lock gives an early low-battery warning and then allows roughly 50 further operations before it stops, which is enough to get a maintenance visit organised rather than a lockout. The mechanical key override opens it. That is the single strongest argument for specifying the KO variant on a managed building - a dead battery becomes a service call rather than an emergency. Our guide to key override when the battery dies covers how to store and control those keys sensibly.
The escutcheon is stainless steel, which is the right material for salt air, but no electronic lock is immune to a beachfront position. The Lockwood warranty specifically excludes corrosion from coastal or corrosive environments, so a waterfront specification is a maintenance decision as much as a purchase one. The Lockwood terms are 25 years on mechanical components and 3 years on electrical and electronic parts, with batteries excluded and keys covered for 12 months. Because this listing is a kit, the mortice lock body sits under the mechanical term and the escutcheon electronics under the electronic term. Yes. The 3772 is a current Lockwood commercial lock body with published spare parts - the service manual carries the exploded parts diagram with orderable part numbers, and a complete replacement body is stocked as the 3772NOHDSS. That serviceability is a genuine reason to choose a mainstream commercial platform over an imported lockset with no local parts chain.
Is Integral the Right Choice?
When you have a lot of doors, a lot of turnover and no appetite for cabling or networking. Student accommodation, hotels and motels, tenanted office floors, healthcare and aged care, and training sites all fit that shape: issuing and cancelling a card is quicker and cheaper than cutting and recovering keys, and the on-lock audit trail settles disputes. It is also the right answer where IT will not allow another set of connected devices on the network.
When you want to grant access remotely to someone who is not on site to collect a card, or you want a phone to be the key. Offline data-on-card cannot do either. A single-door residence is also the wrong fit - the encoder, software and activation card only make sense once there are enough doors to manage. For those cases look at an app-managed lock instead and start at Chapter 15 on app platforms.
Cortex is a standalone digital lockset - codes and cards are held at the lock and programmed at the door, with no central system. Integral is a managed system with central issuing, reporting and a card hierarchy. For a handful of doors Cortex is simpler and cheaper; past a certain door count, central issuing wins. The CTX3772 shares this kit's 3772 mortice footprint, the CTX530 is the tubular latch version and the CTX5782 is the narrow-stile aluminium door version.

Lockwood branded products are covered by manufacturer warranties issued by ASSA ABLOY Australia Pty Ltd. Warranty periods vary by product type, with separate cover for mechanical components, electrical and electronic parts, keys, and finishes.
The summary below sets out the standard warranty structure. All warranty claims are handled by Terry's Tradies Pty Ltd and its associated websites, trading names, and subsidiaries. Full terms and exclusions are set out in the official Lockwood warranty document linked at the base of this page.

Finish Coverage Guide
- Everbrass finishes: up to 25 years against corrosion, tarnishing and discolouration.
- Stainless steel, polished stainless steel, chrome plating and anodised finishes: typically up to 10 years.
- PVD and VIVID finishes: typically up to 10 years.
- Symmetry range finishes: typically up to 5 years.
- Decorative finishes (Antique Copper, Architectural Bronze, Oil Rubbed Bronze, Aged Brass, Polished Brass, Satin Brass and related variants): typically up to 2 years against corrosion.
- Unlacquered brass finishes naturally age and change appearance over time. This is not considered a defect.
- Tea staining of stainless steel is not covered where the required cleaning and maintenance have not been followed.
How to Make a Claim
- Contact Terry's Tradies Pty Ltd and its associated websites, trading names, and subsidiaries with your proof of original purchase.
- Keep the product securely packed and clearly identified, ready for assessment.
- Where a claim is escalated to the manufacturer, ASSA ABLOY may issue a case number before goods are returned.
- ASSA ABLOY assesses the claim and determines repair, replacement with the same or closest equivalent product, or refund of the purchase price.
Exclusions
- Normal wear and tear.
- Misuse, abuse, accidental damage or use outside published specifications.
- Improper maintenance or failure to follow care instructions.
- Unauthorised modification, repair or use of non-genuine parts.
- Exposure to corrosive environments including coastal air, salt spray, chemicals or pollution.
- Removal, refitment or associated labour charges.
- Products not originally sold in Australia through authorised channels.
These manufacturer warranties apply in addition to your rights under the Australian Consumer Law. Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the ACL. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and to compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. Where a failure does not amount to a major failure, you are entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced.
