It opens with the Schlage Breeze app over Bluetooth, a touch keypad, a fingerprint scanner, key tags, or a mechanical key override - so residents, staff and guests can be given exactly the access they need.
Made by Schlage (part of Allegion), the Omnia is recommended for internal multi-residential use. The leverset is compliant to AS1428.1-2009 and the lock has been successfully tested on fire door assemblies to AS1905.1, making it suitable for internal doors where fire rating and accessibility both matter.
The Omnia is a lever lock designed for an Australian mortice lock or tubular latch (sold separately). AS4145.2 lockset compliance applies when the Omnia is combined with a Legge 990 mortice lock. Confirm your mortice or latch selection before ordering.

The Omnia is set up and managed with the Schlage Breeze app, available for iOS 8.0 and above and Android 4.3 and above. The app manages users, PIN codes, key tags and audit history, and can send virtual keys to guests by text message.
The lock itself communicates over Bluetooth. For remote unlocking, remote PIN generation and access alerts from anywhere, pair the Omnia with the Schlage Breeze WiFi Bridge (BZ100) (sold separately). When fitting to a fire door, confirm the complete assembly - hinges, strikes and seals - is compatible and that the fire door manufacturer approves the hardware. Access and credentials
Three ways, all from the Schlage Breeze app: create one of the 150 scheduled PIN codes so a code only works in the window you set, send a virtual key by text message, or hand over one of the key tags and delete it from the lock later. The Omnia also holds 150 custom PIN codes (4 to 9 digits) for permanent users. Remote access and the Wi-Fi bridge
Only for remote features. At the door the Omnia works over Bluetooth with no bridge and no internet. Add the Schlage Breeze WiFi Bridge (BZ100) when you want to unlock, issue PINs or receive activity alerts from anywhere. How gateways compare across brands: Chapter 08 - Gateway Comparison.
The BZ100 uses the 2.4GHz band only. If your router merges 2.4GHz and 5GHz under one network name (band steering), split the bands or force 2.4GHz during pairing - the fix is usually two minutes in the router settings. AS4145.2 is the Australian locksets standard. The Omnia's lockset compliance applies when it is paired with a Legge 990 mortice lock - with a different mortice or a tubular latch the lock still works, but that compliance claim does not carry over. The Omnia mounts over a separate Australian mortice lock or tubular latch. The Legge 990SV mortice is the reference pairing - it carries the AS4145.2 compliance and the widest door thickness range. With the Legge 990SV mortice and clutching key override the Omnia suits doors 35 to 60mm thick; with the latch retraction key override the range is 35 to 45mm. Measure before you order: Chapter 02 - door thickness.

Power and batteries
4 x AAA alkaline batteries (included) - roughly a year at 10 uses a day. The lock warns you well before they run out, and the oval-cylinder key gets you in if they die completely. Setup, reset and troubleshooting
Download Schlage Breeze (iOS or Android), create an account, and follow the in-app pairing steps - keep a card or tag handy, because the lock needs one presented to wake it during pairing. Then grant that card or tag access under Grant Access > Add Credential. The full sequence is in the Quick Start Guide (PDF), and general setup help is in Chapter 12 - Installation & Troubleshooting.
Remove the lock from the door (two screws on the interior body), check the batteries have power, then hold the recessed reset button on the inside of the exterior body for 5 seconds until you hear "Input initialisation code". Schlage door hardware is covered by the Allegion residential warranty against defects in material and workmanship for the periods shown below, running from the date of purchase. Cover varies by product range and by component (mechanical, finish and electronics), so please check the row that matches your product.
Warranty Summary
* On selected electronic locks, Schlage extends a Limited Lifetime mechanical and finish warranty and a 3-year Limited electronics warranty to the original consumer user, for as long as that user occupies the residential premises where the product was originally installed. How to Make a Claim
- Keep your proof of purchase (order confirmation or tax invoice) from Terry's Tradies Pty Ltd and its associated websites, trading names, and subsidiaries.
- Contact us first through the Returns & Warranty page to lodge your claim and receive return instructions.
- Provide a description of the fault. Allegion may inspect the installation before removal and may require the product to be returned for inspection, freight prepaid, as set out in the manufacturer's terms.
- Once assessed, the defective product will be repaired or replaced, or the purchase price refunded, at the warranty provider's option.
What Is Not Covered
This warranty does not cover:
- Deterioration of decorative finishes, unless that finish is specifically listed in the product warranty above.
- Defects or damage caused, wholly or partly, by failure to properly install or maintain the goods, or failure to follow Schlage's instructions or guidelines.
- Use of the goods for any application other than the one specified on the accepted quote or order form.
- Continued use of the goods after a defect has become apparent, or would have become apparent to a reasonably prudent user.
- Fair wear and tear, or any accident or act of God.
- Any goods that have been repaired, altered or overhauled without Allegion's consent - the warranty ceases in that case.
Allegion is not liable for any delay in replacing, repairing or assessing a claim, and is not liable for any incidental or consequential damages arising from a breach of warranty. For goods not manufactured by Allegion, the warranty is the manufacturer's current warranty, to the extent it can be transferred to the buyer.
Important Notes
Warranty periods run from the date of purchase. Allegion will, at its option, repair or replace product it finds to be defective, provided the product is returned as directed. The Limited Lifetime cover on selected electronic locks (Encode™ and Sense™) applies to the original consumer user while they occupy the residential premises where the product was originally installed. This warranty covers residential applications.
This warranty is in addition to, and does not exclude, restrict or modify, the guarantees and rights you have under the Australian Consumer Law. Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and to compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.
