Borg BLS1000KEY Override Key - Suits BL1706 Cam Lock
The Borg BLS1000KEY is a cut override key for the Borg BL1706 mechanical digital cam lock. It is the standard keyed alike key and works in every BL1706 we sell, so it arrives ready to use - no cutting needed.
It is supplied as a single key and is special order, non-returnable. If you would rather have a locksmith copy your own key, order the BLS1000KB key blank instead.
The BLS1000KEY is brought in to order and cannot be returned for change of mind, so confirm your lock is a BL1706 and contact us for the current lead time before ordering. Your rights under the Australian Consumer Law for faulty goods are unaffected.

Compatible Locks
The BLS1000KEY is the override key for the Borg BL1706 Mechanical Digital Cam Lock with Key Override and Easicode Pro, in both finishes - Black (BL1706MGPROECPKA) and Satin Chrome (BL1706SCECPKA). The BL1706 backs up its Easicode Pro keypad with a euro cylinder key override, keyed alike, and comes with 2 keys; this is a spare or additional key for that override. The sister BL1006SCECP cam lock has no key override and does not use this key.
Cut key or blank? The BLS1000KEY arrives cut and ready to use. If your locksmith prefers to cut the key, order the BLS1000KB blank instead. Not sure which suits your setup? Contact us.

Warranty
All Borg locks are warranted against mechanical defects in materials and workmanship under normal use and service for a minimum of 12 months from date of sale. The warranty does not cover damage arising from misuse, vandalism, or improper installation. The lock must not be dismantled - doing so will invalidate the warranty. Proof of purchase required for all claims.

Borg products sold in Australia are covered against mechanical defects in materials and workmanship under normal use and service. Warranty claims are handled by Terry's Tradies Pty Ltd and its associated websites, trading names, and subsidiaries.

- Locks that have been dismantled - dismantling invalidates the warranty

How to Make a Claim
- Contact Terry's Tradies Pty Ltd first if you purchased through us or one of its associated trading names - we will assess the issue and manage the warranty process with LSC on your behalf. You do not need to contact LSC or Borg Locks UK directly.
- Have your proof of purchase ready (receipt or order confirmation).
- Warranty claims for Borg products in Australia are processed through LSC, the authorised Australian importer and distributor. Where an item is returned to LSC, freight charges must be prepaid and the item returned within the warranty period.
- If LSC finds the returned item to be defective, it will be repaired or replaced, and a detailed assessment report is provided to the customer after examination.
Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure. The Borg manufacturer warranty above operates alongside - and does not limit - these statutory rights.
