Frequently Asked Questions
Does this lock require batteries or power?
No. It is a fully mechanical cam lock. No batteries, no power supply, and no wiring are required at any point in the product's lifetime.
How do I change the PIN code?
The code can be changed with the lock installed using the included Easicode Pro code change key. No lock removal is required. Refer to the Easicode Pro code change instructions supplied with the lock.
What is the key override for?
The key override allows a supervisor or administrator to open the lock without entering the code — useful for emergencies, lockouts, or situations where the code has been forgotten. Both locks (black and satin chrome) are keyed alike, meaning the same key operates both if you have multiple units on the same installation.
What is the code change cover plate for?
The optional cover plates (BLS101MGPRO for black; BLS101SC for satin chrome) cover the Easicode Pro code change point on the cam lock body. Fitting the cover plate prevents anyone other than a keyholder from initiating a code change. Recommended in shared or public-access installations where code security is important. Available separately — see the cover plate product page.
What door thickness does this suit?
This cam lock is designed for doors up to 25mm thick. Confirm your door or panel thickness before ordering to ensure correct cam engagement. If your door is thicker than 25mm, this lock is not the correct product.
Additional Information
The key override should be managed carefully. Keep physical keys held by a limited number of authorised persons. If a key is lost, rekey or replace the lock to maintain access integrity.
Verify the door or panel thickness before installation. A door thicker than 25mm will prevent the cam from engaging the strike correctly, resulting in a lock that does not hold securely.

How a Warranty Claim Works
Warranty claims for Borg products in Australia are processed through LSC, the authorised Australian importer and distributor for Borg Locks. If the returned item is found by LSC to be defective, it will be repaired or replaced. Products must be returned to the LSC office with freight charges prepaid within the warranty period. A detailed assessment report is provided to the customer after examination.
Contact Terry’s Locksmiths first — we will assess the issue and manage the warranty process with LSC on your behalf. You do not need to contact LSC or Borg Locks UK directly.
Australian Consumer Law
Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.
