Fire Door Compliance
The Lockwood 530DXSC has strong documented fire door relevance within the 530 Digital DX Entrance Set range. ASSA ABLOY / Lockwood states this product is Fire Rated and has been successfully tested to 2 hours on fire door assemblies in accordance with Australian Standard AS 1905.1 2005 - Part 1, Fire Resistant Doorsets.
That gives the 530DXSC a clear compliance advantage for projects where fire door suitability matters. As with all fire door hardware, final compliance still depends on the complete approved doorset, including the door, frame, latch preparation, strike arrangement and installation method.
