FORGE Weather Cover for H60 Outdoor Smart Lock - Galvanised Steel
The FORGE Weather Cover for H60 (FEH60CV) is a matt black, galvanised steel rain hood made by FORGE for the FORGE H60 outdoor smart lock. It fits above the handle and is sealed to the door or gate with silicone, shedding rain away from the keypad and fingerprint reader below.
It is sold singly. FORGE rates both H60 panels IP65 and, where the lock is fully exposed, calls one cover over the inside handle the critical minimum - a cover over each handle gives the best protection. Made for FORGE, an Australian brand based in Ringwood, Victoria.
Usually ships in 24 hours.
Owned by FORGE Electrical (Australia) · Manufactured in China. Our independent FORGE brand profile sets out how the range compares with the other brands we stock.

Installation
- Fit the lock first, then offer the cover up above the handle so it shades the keypad, fingerprint reader or inside controls below.
- Clean and dry the door or gate surface, run a bead of exterior-grade silicone along the cover's contact edges and press it into place.
- Let the silicone cure before the cover takes rain.
- If you are fitting one cover only, put it over the inside handle - FORGE's minimum for a fully exposed lock.
FORGE's H60 manual sets out the weather limits on its non-warranty disclaimer on page 23.
Frequently Asked Questions
Only where it is fully exposed. FORGE rates both H60 panels IP65 for general outdoor conditions and strongly recommends a cover on a completely exposed door or gate; IP65 does not cover driving rain, hail, salt spray or immersion (IP ratings explained).
The inside handle. FORGE calls one cover over the internal handle the critical minimum on a fully exposed site; a second over the outside handle gives the best protection.
One per handle you want to cover. FORGE sells the cover singly, so covering both handles takes two.
FORGE's instruction is to fix it above the lock with silicone; it names no screws or drilling.
Additional Information
- Made for the H60. It suits both the TTLock and the Forge Smart version of the H60; the H1-series gate locks have their own cover.
- A cover helps but does not change the rating. The H60's IP65 rating and FORGE's weather disclaimer still apply.
- Severe weather? For direct, severe exposure FORGE suggests an IP66 or IP68 lock - see the H1S, the RD1T rim lock or the IP68 H100.
