McGrath RBB56 Wireless Keypad & RFID Access Control
The McGrath RBB56 is a battery-powered wireless keypad and RFID reader designed to provide external PIN and card access to compatible McGrath smart locks or access controllers. It acts as a remote access interface, extending the PIN and RFID functionality of the paired device without requiring hard-wiring.
The RBB56 communicates with the paired device via Bluetooth (BLE) and is managed entirely through the McGrath Locks App. It is commonly used for gates, garages, secondary entry points, and outdoor installations where the primary lock or controller is located internally or out of reach.
Usually same day if ordered before 11am AEST (excluding weekends and QLD public holidays)
The RBB56 is not a lock. It does not contain a latch, deadbolt, or motor. It must be paired with a compatible McGrath smart lock or access controller to function.
Key Features
- Wireless external keypad and RFID reader for McGrath smart locks and controllers.
- Provides PIN code and RFID access via Bluetooth (BLE).
- Typical operating range of 8–10 metres from the paired device.
- Metal zinc alloy construction for durability.

- Managed entirely through the McGrath Locks App.
- One keypad can be paired with up to three devices.
- A single lock or controller can be paired with one keypad only.

Access & Operation
- PIN capacity: Same as the paired lock or controller.
- RFID capacity: Same as the paired lock or controller.
- RFID frequency: 13.56 MHz (MIFARE).
- Keypad type: Raised physical buttons.
This keypad does not store users on its own. All PIN codes, RFID cards, schedules, and access rules are managed by the paired McGrath lock or controller.
If the paired device supports a certain number of users or cards, the keypad will support exactly the same. Removing or changing a user in the app immediately affects keypad access as well.
