Austyle 59419 WiFi Gateway Hub - White
The Austyle 59419 WiFi Gateway Hub is a plug-in WiFi bridge that connects compatible Austyle smart locks to the TTLock app (available on iOS and Android). Without this hub, Austyle smart locks that use Bluetooth-only connectivity operate as standalone units using their onboard access methods. Pairing with the 59419 unlocks remote unlock, timed PIN code management, access history, and user management from anywhere with an internet connection.
Setup requires no tools or technical knowledge: plug the hub into a standard power socket, add it to your home or office WiFi network via the TTLock app, then add your Austyle lock to the app. The hub communicates with compatible Austyle locks within its wireless range and bridges them to your internet connection via your 2.4GHz WiFi router.
The exception in the Austyle range is the 59410 Lever Latch Set, which has WiFi built into the lock body and connects directly to your network without this hub. All other Austyle smart locks in the current range require the 59419 for remote app access. See the compatibility table below.

Remote App Access - How It Works
The 59419 hub operates on your home or office 2.4GHz WiFi network. Once connected, it bridges your Austyle lock to the TTLock cloud platform, making these features available remotely via the app:
- Remote unlock from anywhere with an internet connection
- Timed PIN codes - set codes that expire automatically
- Access history - view a log of who unlocked the door and when
- User management - add or delete users without being physically present at the lock
Important: The hub must remain plugged in and connected to WiFi at all times for remote features to function. If the hub loses power or WiFi, the lock continues to operate normally on its onboard access methods (Bluetooth, PIN, fingerprint, RFID, and mechanical key) - only remote features are affected.
Frequently Asked Questions
Which Austyle locks need the 59419 hub?
All Austyle smart locks in the current range except the 59410. The 59410 Lever Latch Set has built-in 2.4GHz WiFi and connects directly to your network without this hub. The 59405, 59406, 59407, 59409, 59413, and 89413 all require the 59419 for remote app access.
Does this hub work with locks from other brands?
The 59419 runs on the TTLock platform, which is also used by other brands including McGrath and Lockton. In principle it may function with other TTLock-compatible locks, but Austyle only confirms compatibility with its own range. Use with non-Austyle locks is not covered by the Austyle warranty.
Will the lock stop working if the hub loses power or WiFi?
No. The lock operates independently of the hub at all times. Losing hub power or WiFi only disables the remote app features - the lock continues to function normally via its onboard access methods. See our guide to why smart locks sometimes drop off WiFi for network setup tips.
Does the hub work on 5GHz WiFi?
No. The hub connects to 2.4GHz WiFi only. Modern dual-band routers that automatically steer devices between 2.4GHz and 5GHz bands can sometimes prevent the hub from connecting. If you experience setup difficulties, check your router settings and ensure the 2.4GHz band is available separately, or temporarily disable band steering during setup. See our guide to smart lock WiFi connectivity for details.
How many locks can one hub support?
The maximum number of locks supported per hub is not published in Austyle's available documentation. Contact us or Austyle directly if you are planning a multi-lock installation and need to confirm capacity before purchasing.
Additional Information
The hub will not connect to a 5GHz network. Many modern routers combine both bands under a single network name and automatically steer devices - this can prevent the hub from pairing successfully. If setup fails, check your router settings and ensure the hub is connecting to the 2.4GHz band. Most routers allow you to temporarily separate the bands or give them distinct names to resolve this. For a detailed explanation, see our blog on why smart locks sometimes drop off WiFi.
Position the hub within reasonable wireless range of your lock and within reach of a power socket. The hub communicates with the lock via the TTLock protocol; excessive distance or walls between the hub and lock can affect reliability. Placing the hub near the door - on the same floor and ideally within 10 metres - is recommended for consistent performance.
Austyle's recommended setup sequence is: (1) plug in the hub, (2) add the hub to your network via the TTLock app, (3) install the smart lock on the door, (4) add the lock to the app. Adding the lock to the app before the hub is connected to your network is a common cause of setup difficulty. If you run into issues, the TTLock user manual on our blog is a useful reference.
The Austyle 59410 Lever Latch Set has WiFi built directly into the lock body and connects to your router without this hub. If you have purchased a 59410, you do not need the 59419. All other Austyle smart locks in the current range do require this hub for remote app access.
