The Austyle 89413 is a smart digital lever latch set designed for residential entry doors. It combines Bluetooth app control, PIN code, RFID card, fingerprint, and a C4 Australian standard profile mechanical key into a single compact unit - five access methods in a 139mm panel. The C4 key profile integrates with local locksmith master-keying systems, allowing the lock to participate in a property's broader key hierarchy.

The 89413 is managed through the TTLock app (iOS ), allowing user management, timed and recurring codes, e-Key sharing, and access record review over Bluetooth at close range. Remote WiFi access, voice control, and cloud-based log access require pairing with the Austyle 59419 WiFi Gateway Hub (sold separately; 2.4GHz only). Battery, Power & Backup Access

No USB Emergency Power Port: The 89413 does not have a USB emergency power input. If batteries are fully depleted, the C4 mechanical key is the only way to access the door. Keep at least one key stored in a secure location outside the door at all times. Replace batteries promptly when the low battery alarm activates.

• Powered by 4 x AA alkaline batteries (6V total) - not included. Alkaline batteries only; lithium and rechargeable batteries are not compatible and may void warranty.
• Low voltage alarm activates below 4.8V via app notification and onboard indicator. Replace all four batteries at the same time.
• C4 mechanical key override - always keep at least one key accessible outside the door. 2 keys included. Additional C4 keys are available through a locksmith.

What is the C4 key profile and why does it matter?
The C4 is an Australian standard key profile used in many residential and commercial locks supplied through hardware and locksmith channels. Because the 89413 uses the C4 profile, your locksmith can cut additional keys, include this lock in a master-key system, or match it to other C4 hardware on the property. This is the key differentiator between the 89413/59413 and the other Austyle smart levers, which use proprietary key profiles that cannot be master-keyed locally.

What happens if the batteries run flat?
The C4 mechanical key is the only way to access the door if the batteries are fully depleted. This lock has no USB emergency power port. Keep at least one C4 key stored in a secure location outside the door at all times. The low voltage alarm activates below 4.8V with plenty of warning - do not ignore it. What is the difference between the 89413 and 59413?
The 89413 and 59413 are mechanically identical - same lock, same electronics, same TTLock platform. The only difference is finish: 89413 is Silver White; 59413 is Black. Choose based on your door and hardware finish preference.

Does the 89413 support remote access?
Yes, but only when the Austyle 59419 WiFi Gateway Hub is installed (sold separately; 2.4GHz only). Without the hub, the lock operates on Bluetooth (within approximately 5m), PIN, RFID, fingerprint, and mechanical key - all working without internet. What door thickness does this lock suit?
The 89413 suits doors from 35mm to 65mm thick. The included 60mm spindle suits doors 35-48mm; the included 75mm spindle suits doors 48-65mm. Additional Information

Installation - Template and Door Preparation:
An installation template is included. Use it to mark the panel and latch hole positions accurately before drilling. The panel faces are flush-mounted against the door surface - no mortice is required. Confirm door thickness and spindle protrusion limits (max 30mm inside) before purchasing spindle extensions. Guard Bolt - Always Deploy:
The included tubular latch is a high-security guard bolt type. The guard bolt must be in the deployed (extended) position when the door is closed for the lock to engage correctly. If the guard bolt is not deploying when the door closes, check that the strike plate is correctly aligned and that the door is sitting squarely in the frame.

TTLock App Administration:
The first TTLock account to add this lock becomes the administrator. If recommissioning a previously used lock, perform a factory reset first. Key Management - Secure Storage:
Always store at least one C4 key in a secure location external to the door - for example, in a key safe. Because this lock has no USB emergency power port, the mechanical key is the sole fallback if batteries fail. Additional C4 keys can be cut by any locksmith with C4 blanks. Terry's can supply and cut keys if required.

IP55 Rating and Weather Exposure:
IP55 means the exterior panel is tested against water spray from any direction and dust ingress. Install under an eave or in a sheltered position; avoid prolonged direct rain or sunlight. Not suitable for tongue-and-groove doors or gate installation. See our guide to IP ratings.

Cleaning and Maintenance:
Wipe the exterior panel with a dry or lightly damp cloth. Do not use solvents, abrasive cleaners, or high-pressure water. The fingerprint reader should be kept free of moisture, oils, and contamination for reliable performance. Apply a small amount of dry lubricant to the latch mechanism annually.

Not Suitable for Gates:
This lock is not rated for gate installation. The Austyle warranty explicitly excludes gate use. Not suitable for tongue-and-groove doors. For gate-suitable options, ask Terry's team.

1-year mechanical and 1-year electronic warranty on residential installations, provided by Austyle Architectural Hardware. Proof of purchase required for all claims.
