Borg BL3430 Mechanical Digital Gate Lock – Back-to-Back Keypads – Marine Grade – Black
The Borg BL3430 is a fully mechanical marine grade digital gate lock with keypads on both sides of the gate – the back-to-back (BTB) configuration. The correct PIN is required to operate the gate from either side. Both keypads share the same factory preset code, but each can be independently recoded to different combinations if required.
Like all products in the BL3400 series, the BL3430 uses a forend fixing system clamping onto the gate post – no mortice cutting required. It suits gate profiles from 30mm to 60mm square on standard telescopic fixings. The lock is fully mechanical, requires no batteries, and features an anti-climb housing.
Code change uses the traditional Borg tumbler system (lock removal required). For on-gate code change, see the BL3430MGPROECP.
Usually same day if ordered before 11am AEST (excluding weekends and Qld public holidays)
The BL3430GATE is a purpose-built gate lock. It uses a forend fixing system that clamps directly onto the gate post – no mortice cutting or door-edge drilling required. Designed for square aluminium or steel gate posts from 30–60mm. For profiles wider than 60mm, an optional XL latchbolt extension is available separately.
Marine grade quality keypads tested to 1,000 hours of salt water exposure. Suitable for coastal, beachside, and outdoor gate installations.
This model uses a tumbler-based code system. To change the PIN, the lock must be removed from the gate. The keypad cover plate is removed, and red coded / blue uncoded tumblers are rearranged using the supplied tweezers. For on-gate code change, see the BL3400MGPROECP (single-sided) or BL3430MGPROECP (back-to-back).
This model has a full keypad unit on both the outside and inside of the gate. The same PIN code operates both keypads. Entering the code is required to enter and exit — there is no free egress from inside.
Entirely mechanical. No power source, no wiring, and no battery maintenance at any point.
Accepts one active PIN code at a time.
Unlike single-sided models, the inside keypad requires the correct PIN before the lever operates. Confirm this suits your application and complies with any applicable fire egress or building regulations before purchasing.

How a Warranty Claim Works
Warranty claims for Borg products in Australia are processed through LSC, the authorised Australian importer and distributor for Borg Locks. If the returned item is found by LSC to be defective, it will be repaired or replaced. Products must be returned to the LSC office with freight charges prepaid within the warranty period. A detailed assessment report is provided to the customer after examination.
Contact Terry’s Locksmiths first — we will assess the issue and manage the warranty process with LSC on your behalf. You do not need to contact LSC or Borg Locks UK directly.
Australian Consumer Law
Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.
