The code is non-sequential - the digits can be pressed in any order.

- Maintenance: Monthly: wipe both keypads, both levers and the exposed latch with a light spray of silicon-based lubricant (such as GT85) and remove the excess with a soft cloth. Do not use oil-based lubricants such as WD-40 - they attract dirt and wear down internal parts over time. Annually: remove the lock from the gate, spray the inside through the code piece holes on the reverse of each keypad with silicon-based lubricant, spray all fixings, accessories and the latch with silicon-based lubricant, then press each button and operate both levers several times to confirm smooth operation. - Egress compliance is your responsibility: confirm the gate is not a required exit path or part of a pool safety barrier before fitting a code-both-sides lock. The free-egress alternatives are the single-sided BL3400 MG Pro ECP and BL3400GATE.

How do I adjust the latch projection?
The spring-loaded latch adjusts between 65mm and 80mm using the supplied hex key - anti-clockwise to increase the projection, clockwise to reduce it. The latch position itself can also be adjusted by removing the two side screws. Both procedures are illustrated in the series instructions (PDF).

My gate is hung the other way - can the lock be reversed?
