The Borg BL3582KIT is the adaptor kit for a Lockwood 3582 mortice lock: it lets a Borg mechanical digital keypad work the Lockwood lock already in the door, so the door moves to battery-free code entry without replacing the lock. What This Kit Converts and the Keypads It Takes
BL3582KIT converts a Lockwood 3582 mortice lock and takes a single Borg 2000 or 4000 Series keypad-only unit: choose a keypad-only unit from the first table and order it with the kit. If you choose an Easicode Pro (ECP) keypad, ask us to confirm it with this kit before you order. If you would rather replace the 3582 than convert it, the second table shows that route.

BL3572KIT, or the 09351550 (BL3572KOR) plate if you want key override; BL3582KIT is made for the Lockwood 3582. The 3582 is the aluminium style Lockwood mortice lock and the Lockwood 3572 the timber style, but identify the lock itself rather than going by the door - see existing door hardware in Measuring Your Door, or send us a photo of the lock.

Check with us using your measurement. Thicker doors take the extended BLMORTSPDL120 spindle in place of the standard BLMORTSPDL; measure the door (door thickness in Measuring Your Door) and send us the figure with a photo of the lock, and we will confirm the set-up before you order.
Keep it if the lock is in good working order - BL3582KIT is the keep-the-3582 route. If the lock has to go, fit a Borg lock supplied with the 28mm Ali-Latch, such as the BL2002SC, with the FPBLS27CONV face plate so the latch suits the door edge cut for the 3582. The BL2202SC (knob keypad with holdback) and the BL2702SCECP (Easicode Pro with key override) are also supplied with the 28mm latch. Unsure which suits your door? - Code changes depend on the keypad: Easicode Pro (ECP) keypads change code on the door (Borg Easicode Pro on-door change, what ECP means); non-ECP Borg keypads are changed On The Bench (Borg standard chambers, the bench method). If the code will change even once a year, choose an ECP keypad.
- Identify and measure first: check the lock and its furniture (mortice lever and escutcheon, mortice with longplate furniture), then measure the door (door thickness) and the backset, which helps confirm which Lockwood lock you have (how to measure backset). A photo of the lock and door edge lets us confirm the kit and spindle.

Warranty
All Borg locks are warranted against mechanical defects in materials and workmanship under normal use and service for a minimum of 12 months from date of sale. The warranty does not cover damage arising from misuse, vandalism, or improper installation. The lock must not be dismantled - doing so will invalidate the warranty. Proof of purchase required for all claims.

How to Make a Claim
- Contact Terry's Tradies Pty Ltd first if you purchased through us or one of its associated trading names - we will assess the issue and manage the warranty process with LSC on your behalf. You do not need to contact LSC or Borg Locks UK directly.
- Have your proof of purchase ready (receipt or order confirmation).
- Warranty claims for Borg products in Australia are processed through LSC, the authorised Australian importer and distributor. Where an item is returned to LSC, freight charges must be prepaid and the item returned within the warranty period.
- If LSC finds the returned item to be defective, it will be repaired or replaced, and a detailed assessment report is provided to the customer after examination.
Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.
