If the code is lost, the lock body must be removed from the gate. With the lock removed, turn the keypad over to reveal the 12 portholes on the back. Press C to reset any depressed buttons. Look through each porthole - coded buttons show a red line closest to the centre; uncoded buttons show a blue line. This identifies the current code without needing to break the lock.
