The Borg BL2600KMG Knob Keypad Only is Borg's external grade chrome plated outside knob keypad, sold on its own as a replacement keypad only. The BL2620MGBC back-to-back lock takes it on both sides, and it is listed with the Borg Lockwood conversion kits - see Compatible Borg Locks and Lockwood Conversions.
Like every lock in our mechanical digital range, it needs no batteries, wiring or app. The chrome plating is for doors and gates in ordinary weather, not salt air, and the code is changed On The Bench - the lock comes off the door for it (how the Borg bench change works).

To change the code, the lock comes off the door, the plate inside the keypad is unscrewed and the coded and un-coded pieces are moved with tweezers while C is held in. It works, but it is fiddly - and on an outside door it means taking the lock off in the weather. Spare coded pieces let you set a code of three or four digits, or six or seven. If you expect to change the code even once a year, an Easicode Pro lock that changes on the door is the better buy - the bench method step by step, where bench changes go wrong and do you always need ECP?.

How do I change the code?
On The Bench. Take the lock off the door, remove the screws and the plate over the code chamber, then hold C in and move the coded (red) and un-coded (blue) pieces with tweezers - never remove the C piece, and keep the square cut-outs facing out. Refit and test the new code before the lock goes back on. Step by step: the Borg bench change and the Borg code change sheet (PDF), which is headed BL2000.

- Warranty claims for Borg products in Australia are processed through LSC, the authorised Australian importer and distributor. Where an item is returned to LSC, freight charges must be prepaid and the item returned within the warranty period.
- If LSC finds the returned item to be defective, it will be repaired or replaced, and a detailed assessment report is provided to the customer after examination.
