Lockwood Cortex Spare Access Cards - Pack of 5, Red
The Lockwood Cortex CTXCARD05 in Red is a pack of five genuine Lockwood Cortex RFID access cards in a distinctive red finish. These cards function identically to the Satin Chrome variant but are supplied in red for easy visual identification - commonly used where different card colours are needed to distinguish between user types, access zones, or credential levels on a multi-door or multi-user site.
Cards must be enrolled into the Cortex system before use. They are not pre-programmed. Each Cortex lockset supports up to 40 enrolled cards in total.

Frequently Asked Questions
- Does the red colour affect how the card works?
No. The card colour is purely for visual identification. Red cards function identically to Satin Chrome cards and are enrolled and operated in exactly the same way. - Are these cards pre-programmed?
No. Cards must be enrolled into the Cortex lockset using the standard Cortex programming procedure before they will grant access. - Why would I use red cards instead of Satin Chrome?
Red cards are commonly used where colour coding helps site managers distinguish between different user groups - for example, master users, contractors, or restricted access zones. Using a different colour for a specific user group makes it immediately obvious which credential type a card belongs to. - Are these cards compatible with all Cortex models?
Yes. These cards are compatible with the CTX530, CTX3772, and CTX5782 Cortex lockset models.
