Lockwood 3782-DXKOKITSC Key Override DX Digital Conversion Kit for Selector 3782 Short Backset Mortice Locks
The Lockwood 3782-DXKOKITSC is a mechanical Digital DX key override conversion kit designed for use with Lockwood Selector 3782 short backset mortice locks. It provides keypad entry without batteries or electrical wiring, while also allowing emergency or master key access when the correct lower cylinder arrangement is specified.
This product is not a complete mortice lockset. It is a conversion kit only and must be paired with a compatible Lockwood Selector 3782 series primary mortice lock. Door furniture and cylinders are also separate items and must be ordered to suit the intended application.
The 3782 DX key override format is commonly specified where a mechanical keypad is preferred for commercial access control, but key entry is still required for authorised personnel such as maintenance staff, building managers or emergency access holders.

Fire Door Compliance
The 3782-DXKOKITSC should not be described as a standalone fire-rated product. It is a DX key override conversion kit used with the Lockwood Selector 3782 short backset mortice lock platform, so any fire claim must relate to the complete tested doorset.
This matters even more on narrow stile and aluminium door applications, where lock body selection, furniture, cylinder preparation, frame details and the approved door assembly all affect compliance. The correct assessment is based on the full door set, not just the keypad kit.
For fire door work, always confirm suitability against the door manufacturer’s approval, the lock schedule and the relevant tested configuration before ordering or installing.

This SKU should not be sold as a complete lockset. It is a DX keypad conversion kit for compatible Selector 3782 short backset mortice lock applications. - Opening-In Door Planning:
On opening-in doors, 23 mm, 25.4 mm and 30 mm backset locks may require machining of the door stop to clear the codepad. In the broader 3782 family, 38 mm backset locks are generally recommended for opening-in use. - Door Preparation:

This is a mechanical shared-code solution. It does not provide multiple user codes, audit trail or remote access. - Holdback Applications:
A key operated holdback function is available, but it requires inclusion of an internal cylinder. - Commercial Positioning:
