Lockwood 3782-DXKITSC DX Digital Conversion Kit for Selector 3782 Short Backset Mortice Locks
The Lockwood 3782-DXKITSC is a mechanical Digital DX conversion kit designed for compatible Lockwood Selector 3782 short backset mortice lock applications. It provides keypad entry without batteries or electrical wiring and is intended for narrow stile and aluminium door situations where a short backset mortice platform is required.
This product is not a complete mortice lockset. It is a conversion kit only and must be paired with a compatible Lockwood Selector 3782 series primary mortice lock. Lockwood 4800 or 5800 series furniture is also ordered separately to complete the assembly.
The 3782 DX format is commonly used where a mechanical keypad is preferred for commercial access control, but smart lock features are not required. It is a single-code mechanical system with manual code changing rather than on-door electronic programming.
This is a DX digital conversion kit only. It does not include the primary 3782 mortice lock or Lockwood 4800 / 5800 series furniture. These items must be ordered separately.

Additional Information
- Kit-Only Product:
This SKU should not be sold as a complete lockset. It is a DX keypad conversion kit for compatible Selector 3782 short backset mortice lock applications. - Opening-In Door Planning:
On opening-in doors, 23 mm, 25.4 mm and 30 mm backset locks may require machining of the door stop to clear the digital pad. In the broader 3782 family, 38 mm backset locks are generally preferred where additional clearance is needed. - Single Code System:
This is a mechanical shared-code solution. It does not provide multiple user codes, audit trail or remote access. - Door Preparation:
Accurate fixing, spindle alignment and lock preparation are important. This is not a casual retrofit item. - Commercial Positioning:
This product suits sites that want simple mechanical keypad access without batteries or smart lock functions. - Short Backset Context:
The 3782 family is used where standard backset mortice platforms are not suitable, especially on narrower stile door designs.
