Master Lock Vault
The 5440EC is managed through the Master Lock Vault apps, available on iOS and Android . Vault Home is the free personal app, supporting up to 10 locks with access history. Vault Enterprise is the business platform, with a web interface for managing many locks and many users, assigning access on a temporary or ongoing basis, and reviewing audit trails. Battery & Power
The 5440EC runs on a single CR123A battery, supplied and easy to replace. The device and the app both provide a low battery notification and reminder, so you can replace the battery before it runs down. Coverage by Product Type
Master Lock applies different warranty terms depending on the type of product:
- Many mechanical padlocks and security products carry a limited lifetime warranty against defects in materials and workmanship - if the product or a part fails due to such a defect during the life of the product, it is replaced free of charge.
- Electronic, Bluetooth and smart lock products (for example the Vault-connected range) generally carry a fixed-term warranty, the length of which varies by model.

How to Make a Claim
- Contact Terry's Tradies Pty Ltd and its associated websites, trading names, and subsidiaries with your order details and a description of the fault.
- Have your proof of purchase ready - it is required for every claim.
- Where possible, include photos or a short description showing the defect so the claim can be assessed quickly.
- If the claim is accepted, the product or the faulty part is replaced free of charge.
Exclusions
The Master Lock warranty covers manufacturing defects only. It does not cover:
