ABUS EVEROX One 61/50 Bluetooth Smart Padlock - Keyless, 50mm (6150C)
The ABUS EVEROX One 61/50 is a Bluetooth padlock with no keyhole at all. You open it from your phone through the free ABUS One app - there is no cylinder, no key and no keypad on the body. The 50 mm body is the size most gate, shed and cage hasps are cut for, and the 45 mm EVEROX One 61/45 (6145C) is the same lock in a narrower body where clearance is tight.
The body is coated die-cast zinc. The shackle is hardened steel carrying the NANO PROTECT marking and is spring loaded, so it lifts clear the moment the lock releases, and the lock uses a double-bolted mechanism with an automatic locking function. Power is a single CR2 lithium cell behind a screw-fixed cover on the body, and the link between your phone and the lock is AES-128 encrypted.
It is a local lock rather than a connected one. Everything happens over a direct Bluetooth link between your phone and the padlock while you are standing at it - there is no hub, no gateway and no unlocking over the internet. ABUS One App
The EVEROX One is operated through the ABUS One app, which is free and available for both iPhone and Android . Your phone needs to be running iOS 13.0 or later, or Android 8.0 or later, and to have Bluetooth 4.0 LE or higher. Any phone from the last several years clears that easily; a very old handset kept for site work might not.
Setup is short: download the app, turn Bluetooth on, open the app and follow it through. To bring the padlock in, choose "Add new ABUS lock" and scan the Keycard that came with it. If you already own other ABUS locks, make sure you are scanning the right card for the right lock - the cards are not interchangeable.
ABUS One is ABUS's own platform. It is not TTLock, not Tuya, and it does not plug into the short-stay and property-management tools that run on those ecosystems. For one owner or one small team on one site, that is fine and arguably safer. If you need managed access across a whole site, look at the ASSA ABLOY Aperio P100B-100 wireless padlock or the ASSA ABLOY SMARTair i-gate electronic padlock instead - both are built for exactly that, and neither expects one person's phone to be the whole system.

These are two body sizes of one lock, not two different locks. Same ABUS One app, same CR2 cell, same NANO PROTECT shackle, same encryption, same setup. The difference between the 6145C and this 6150C is how wide the body is, and nothing else - so choose on what your hasp will take, not on capability.

Battery and Power
- The lock runs on a single CR2 lithium cell, 850 mAh, and one is supplied with it. CR2 is a common photographic cell, sold everywhere, and it is worth keeping a spare with the rest of your gear.
- Changing it is a two-minute job with a cross-head screwdriver. Undo the screw, swing the battery cover out, lift the old cell out and drop the new one in the right way round.
- Watch the gasket when you put the cover back. There is a seal around the battery cover and it has to sit properly in its groove before the cover goes back on and the screw goes home. A pinched or displaced gasket is the most common way a padlock like this lets moisture in.
- Handle the cell sensibly: keep batteries away from children, do not short the terminals, do not try to charge, puncture, heat or burn it, and take a flat one out rather than leaving it in the lock.
- Batteries are a consumable and are not a warranty item. ABUS gives no run-time figure for this lock, so treat it the way you would any lithium-cell product - change it on a schedule rather than waiting for it to fail on you. - Temperature: -10 degrees C to +50 degrees C. That applies to storage as well as use. On the Gold Coast the cold end is academic; the hot end is not, and a black steel gate in February sun can sit well above ambient.
- Keep it out of prolonged direct sunlight. Long UV exposure is specifically called out for this lock, so where you have the choice, mount it on the shaded side or under an overhang.
- Clean it with a damp cloth only. No solvents, no degreaser, no aggressive cleaning agents - they attack the seals and the finish.
- No IP or weather rating is claimed for this padlock, because ABUS gives none. The honest reading is that it is a lock for sheltered outdoor positions, not one to hose down, jet wash or leave standing in water. If ingress protection is a hard requirement, say so and we will point you at a rated product instead.

Yes. Each lock has its own Keycard and they are not interchangeable - pay attention to which card belongs to which product and always scan the correct one. The Keycard goes with the lock, to the new owner, at the point the lock genuinely becomes theirs - not before. Before you part with it, clear your stored personal data from the lock, which is also what you should do before disposing of one. Choosing Between the 6145C and the 6150C
What is the difference between the 61/45 and the 61/50?
The width of the body, and nothing else. The 6145C is 45 mm and this 6150C is 50 mm. Same ABUS One app, same CR2 cell, same NANO PROTECT shackle, same AES-128 encrypted link, same setup, same Keycard arrangement.
