Wolflok 910007 Replacement Weather Cover

The Wolflok 910007 is the official replacement weather cover for the Wolflok and Wolflok Pro maximum-security key safes. The weather cover clips on and off the front of the unit, providing an additional barrier against rain, dust, and UV exposure while also helping to conceal the keypad from casual view.

Supplied as standard with every new Wolflok unit, the cover is a consumable item — it can become brittle over time with prolonged UV exposure, particularly in Queensland conditions, or may be damaged or lost during a move or reinstallation. The 910007 is the direct like-for-like replacement from the brand, and suits both the standard Wolflok and the Wolflok Pro.

Key Features

  • Official Wolflok replacement weather cover — direct fit for Wolflok (960064) and Wolflok Pro (960071)
  • Clips on and off without tools — quick to attach or remove for access
  • Provides additional protection against rain, dust, and UV degradation
  • Helps disguise the unit from passers-by — reduces visual identification as a key safe
  • Durable plastic construction, designed for permanent outdoor installation
  • Maintains the IP55 ingress protection rating of the Wolflok system when correctly fitted
  • Direct replacement for the cover supplied in every new Wolflok box

Frequently Asked Questions

Does the 910007 suit both the Wolflok and the Wolflok Pro?

Yes. The 910007 weather cover is the same part for both the Wolflok 960064 and the Wolflok Pro 960071.

What does the weather cover actually protect against?

The cover provides an additional barrier against direct rain, airborne dust, and UV degradation of the keypad buttons. It also helps to keep the unit inconspicuous — a closed cover does not immediately identify the unit as a key safe to casual passers-by. The cover is made from durable plastic rated to meet UV, snow, water, and dust environmental standards. It does not make the Wolflok fully waterproof; IP55 permits limited ingress.

Can the Wolflok be used without the weather cover?

Yes — the unit is fully operational without the cover. However, prolonged exposure without a cover will accelerate UV degradation of the keypad and reduce the level of weather protection. Replacing a missing or damaged cover promptly is recommended, particularly in coastal, high-UV, or exposed installations.

How does the weather cover attach?

The cover clips on and off without tools. Open the cover, align it with the unit, and press until it clips into place. To remove, pull it free from the clip points. No screwdrivers or fasteners are required.

What other Wolflok spare parts are available?

Also available: the WFK898 Spare Code Change Tool, WFK311 Standard Security Screws, and WFK001FK XL Security Screws & Wall Plugs.

Additional Information

IP55 and the Role of the Weather Cover
Both Wolflok models carry an IP55 ingress protection rating — tested for resistance to water spray from any direction and dust ingress. The weather cover forms part of that rated system. Operating the unit for extended periods without a cover, or with a cracked or poorly fitted cover, may compromise the ingress protection in practice. Replacing a damaged cover promptly maintains the unit as originally tested.
Coastal and High-UV Installations
In Queensland's coastal environment, UV exposure and salt air accelerate plastic degradation faster than in temperate climates. If your key safe is installed in a north or west-facing position with full sun exposure, the weather cover is likely to show signs of brittleness or fading before the key safe body itself needs attention. Keeping a spare cover on hand is good practice. For more on maintaining a mechanical key safe in an outdoor environment, see our guide to coastal key safe maintenance.

How to Make a Claim

For full returns and warranty claim procedures, visit our Returns & Warranty page — this is kept up to date and is the authoritative reference for current claim steps.
  1. Contact Terry's Tradies Pty Ltd and its associated websites, trading names, and subsidiaries (trading as Gold Coast Smart Locks) in the first instance — do not contact the manufacturer directly for warranty claims.
  2. Have your proof of purchase ready (order confirmation or receipt).
  3. Describe the fault clearly, including the product model (Wolflok or Wolflok Pro) and when the issue first appeared.
  4. If directed to return the product, ensure it is securely packaged. Do not attempt disassembly — this may void the warranty.

Extend Your Warranty to 5 Years — Free Registration

It's worth taking 2 minutes to register your Wolflok.
Registering extends the mechanical parts warranty from 2 years to 5 years at no cost. The registration form at wolflok.com/product-registration is set up for Australian buyers — just select Australia as your country, enter your product model and date of purchase, and you're done. No registration deadline is stated, so you can register at any time after purchase.

Note: The 5-year extension applies to mechanical parts only. The illumination module remains covered for 2 years regardless of registration, and batteries are excluded from all warranty coverage.

Exclusions

The following are not covered under the Wolflok warranty:

  • Damage caused by modification of the product — any modification voids warranty
  • Damage resulting from installation not carried out in accordance with the supplied instructions (including use of incorrect fixings or surface types)
  • Damage caused by misuse, abuse, or neglect
  • Normal wear and tear
  • Batteries (user-replaceable consumables)
  • The illumination module beyond 2 years (not covered under the 5-year extended registration)
  • Damage caused by conditions beyond the product's rated operating range

Important Notes

Correct installation is required to maintain warranty coverage.
The product must be installed and used as described in the supplied instruction manual. Security accreditation (LPS 1175) may also be invalidated if incorrect fixings or surface types are used. Do not reuse screws if reinstalling — contact your supplier for replacement fixings.

No master or reset code exists. Wolflok key lock boxes have no master or reset code function. Lost codes cannot be recovered by the manufacturer, distributor, or retailer.
