The Aperio AH100-002 is a genuine ASSA ABLOY end-cap adapter set for the Aperio H100 Wireless Handle. It is supplied as a set of two pieces - a battery holder end cap and a dummy end cap - and is the part ASSA ABLOY catalogues as the U-Handle or RTD adapter set.
The end caps are what allow a U-handle or a return-to-door configuration to be fitted to an H100. They carry no electronics: the H100 keeps all of its reader, radio and battery hardware inside the outer part of the handle itself.
This is a component for the Aperio H100 Wireless Handle. It contains no reader, no radio, no battery and no locking mechanism, and it will not operate a door on its own. The H100 handle itself is not stocked as a separate listing at Terry's - confirm you already have one, or ask us before ordering.

No. ASSA ABLOY catalogues the U-handle proper as AH100-001. The AH100-002 is the two-piece end cap set - a battery holder end cap and a dummy end cap - that the U-handle configuration uses. If you want the handle and the DDA grip together, the AH100-106 kit (Satin Pearl) or the AH100-006 kit (Satin Chrome) is what you are after.
No. All of the H100's reader, radio and battery hardware sits inside the outer part of the handle. These are mechanical end caps only.
It is catalogued against the H100 Wireless Handle. Do not assume fitment to the AU100, E100, C100 or any other Aperio device - confirm with your access control integrator before ordering.
